COMMUNITY LAUNCH EVENT

"Leading from the Inside Out"

Half day (usually September morning only)

To formally launch the programme, set the content and approach and provide an opportunity to build the leadning community, to network, to buddy as well as introduce some key concepts.

NEEDS ASSESSMENT

July/August/September

Incorporating 360 self evaluation based on National College's DCS Qualities

Framework & Resourceful Leadership Research

DESIGN OF PERSONAL LEARNING PLANS (PLPs)

September/October

To be completed from 360 self-evaluation and shaped through individual 1:1 follow up discussion with a personal coach, helping participants to understand their strenghts, anchors, values, triggers, blind spots to define areas for celebration as well as learning and development.

Participants may also share with their own line manager (discretionary)

PLPs should be revisited and updated by participants at the end of the programme

PARTICIPATION IN THE GROUP COACHING SESSIONS

Ongoing throughout the programme with the following design

5 GROUP COACHING SESSIONS

Dates: VARIOUS BETWEEN OCTOBER THROUGH TO JUNE

Groups of approximately 7/8 participants led by 2 alumni coaches from the programme.

The Group Coaching will explore emerging real "life" dilemmas, callenges and issues, brought by participants, and explode ways of responding, actions and consequences specific to their work.

There will also be opportunities to attend masterclasses, and to develop peer support networks

Core themes are "Leading Self"; "Leading Others" and "Leading Systems" but with scope to co-design based on the emergin curiosity and intrests of each group

The work will also be supported y access to support materials on the Leaders for London website

MIDPOINT LEARNING EVENT

Usually March

"Leading Complex Systems"

An opportunity to network with other colleagues on the cohort to consider further theoretical models, to network, and to review personal development priorities

CLOSING EVENT

Usually July

An opportunity to evaluate progress and to plan next steps.

 

Further information is provided to participants in a Welcome Pack which is sent out prior to the start of the programme.
